A tagalog term meaning funeral wake. The lament of a dead person is usually within a week or two before the burial ceremony or even longer depending on the family's decision. This usually took place at the deceased house. During the wake, the family, relatives, friends and neighbors gathers to mourn by eating coffee plus bread or playing cards or mahjong.
