This is a colloquial term for a tambo or ting-ting. In every Filipino house, you will find at least one broom either a walis tambo or ting-ting. A walis tambo is a reed, which came from a long grass piled together to form into flat triangular like shape broom. While a ting-ting is a broomstick, which comprises of coconut leaves reeds compiled together at least 2-4 inches in diameter tied into a circular bamboo ring.
