According to Gospels, one evening Jesus and his disciples were crossing the Sea of Galilee in a boat when a strong storm came up, with waves breaking over the boat, so that it was nearly sunk. Jesus was in stern, sleeping on a cushion, but the disciples woke him up, with Jesus calming the storm with a command. Similar incidents are also attributed to intercessions of different saints.
