Diamond Christmas Cake
One particular fruitcake, however, would definitely not be re-gifted. Would you, if there are 223 small diamonds encrusted on the outside of the cake? A Japanese pastry chef in Tokyo created this cake. It had six sides and a couple of layers, and took all of six months just to design the cake. The baking process itself lasted just one month. It was sold in 2005 "just" for $1.7 million.
