It is a private university located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Chartered by the Government of Punjab, Beaconhouse National University was established in 2003 by the Beaconhouse School System. BNU established the Razia Hassan School of Architecture , Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts, Seeta Majeed School of Social Sciences, School of Computer & IT, School of Psychology & School of Education. The School of Computer and Information Technology, for the disciplines of Software Engineering, Information Systems and Management Business Computing, was established in 2005.
