Paul Atreides (later known as Paul Muad'Dib) is a fictional character in the Dune universe created by Frank Herbert. He is the son of Duke Leto Atreides. Later he becomes the leader of the Fremen, and upon defeating baron Vladimir Harkonnen, he becomes the Emperor.
