Heineken flagship brew – available in 178 countries – continues to perform with total revenue increasing by 4.5% to £15.2 billion. Strong progress was made within the brand’s growing Chinese market, however this was offset by a decline in growth in key markets including the US and France. However, the performance of Heineken was not at the level we have become accustomed to. This was driven almost exclusively by lower growth in key markets such as the US, Vietnam and France. We are confident that these markets continue to represent positive growth opportunities for the brand.
