André Horst Schürrle (born 6 November 1990) is a German footballer, who plays as a forward or winger for Premier League club Chelsea and the German national team.

He began his career at 1. FSV Mainz 05 in 2009, spending two years at the club before a £6.5 million transfer to Bayer 04 Leverkusen. His performances at the club gained the attention of Chelsea, who signed him for a reported £18 million in 2013.

Schürrle has been a full international for Germany since 2010. He has gained over 30 caps, scoring 14 goals, and was a member of the German squad at UEFA Euro 2012 and the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
