Phascolarctos Cinereus

Also known as the koala, or inaccurately koala bear. The generic name "Phascolarctos" is a combination of phaskolos, referring to a pouch or bag, and arktos, meaning bear, both words from Ancient Greek. The specific name "Cinereus" is Latin for "ash-colored". By literal translation koala is basically called the ash-colored pouch bear.
