Panzer III
Panzer III was a medium tank developed in the 1930s by Germany and was used extensively in World War II. It was intended to fight other armored fighting vehicles and serve alongside the infantry-supporting Panzer IV, however, as it was no match for the formidable Russian T-34, stronger anti-tank guns were needed, so it reversed the roles with the more powerful Panzer IV.
