Response file
(1) A file containing predefined values that is used instead of someone having to enter those values one at a time. See also silent installation.
(2) An ASCII file that can be customised with the setup and configuration data that automates an installation. The setup and configuration data would have to be entered during an interactive install, but with a response file, the installation can proceed without any intervention.
