(1) A customer request for a price quotation on alterations or additions to the functional capabilities of system control programming or licenced programs. The PRPQ may be used in conjunction with computing system RPQs to solve unique data processing problems. See also computing system RPQ.
(2) A customer request for a price quotation for a licenced programme to be designed especially for a particular group of customers or an application. Documentation for the programme is provided only to those customers who order the PRPQ. See also request for price quotation.
