Phon
A unit of equal loudness for all audio frequencies. Phons are related to dB, SPL re: 0.0002 microbar by the Fletcher-Munson curves. For example, a loudness level of 40 phons would require 40 dB SPL at 1 kHz and 52 dB at 10 kHz.
