A line bar (18 μsecs) is used to measure Kbar. Locate the centre of the bar time, normalise that point to 100%, and measure the maximum amplitude deviation for each half. Ignore the first and last 2.5% (0.45 μsec) of the bar. The largest of the two is the Kbar rating.
