Caused by insufficient filtering, violation of the Nyquist Theory, and/or poor interpolation. b) A term for the jagged visual appearance of lines and shapes in raster pictures that results from producing graphics on a grid format. This effect can be reduced by increasing the sample rate in scan conversion.
