Philtre detector
Part of the T042. Please refer to the next sheet "Reference diagram".
When the T042 is mounted on a camera with philtre detection, such as the D3 or D300, the philtre detector detects the philtre mounted on the T042 and the T042 LCD panel displays a philtre indicator and the type of philtre mounted on the T042.
