Bi-phase sync

Bi-phase is an older synchronisation technology used in the film industry. Typically, the clock was derived from a box that hung off of large film mag recorders. This box emitted a pulse that provided sync.

Working with pulses alone, bi-phase sync did not provide location information, making it a rather limited solution.
