An association which has standardised the equalisation used in recording and reproducing. This is a station owner and/or operator’s trade association. NAB is also a participant in ATV testing and standardisation work, and a charter member of ATSC. Though not a proponent of any particular ATV system, NAB lobbies for the interests of broadcasting as a delivery mechanism and has published some of the least biassed information on the subject.
