An active decoding process designed to enhance the sound localization of Dolby Surround encoded programmes through the use of high-separation techniques. Dolby Surround Pro Logic decoders continuously monitor the encoded audio programme and evaluate the inherent sound field dominance, applying enhancement in the same direction and in proportion to that dominance.
