Microphone sensitivity can be adjusted to achieve the desired recording level during live view or movie recording. If “Auto sensitivity (A)” is selected, the camera will automatically adjust microphone sensitivity to keep the level of recorded sounds within an appropriate range. Selecting “High sensitivity (3)”, “Medium sensitivity (2)”, or “Low sensitivity (1)” fixes microphone sensitivity at high, medium, or low sensitivity respectively. "sensitivity" is short for "microphone sensitivity". The string “microphone” is too long to be included in the individual menu items but can be understood from the name of the menu.
