The current shutter speed, aperture, number of exposures remaining, AF-area mode, and other settings are displayed in the monitor when the "information button" is pressed. This is referred to as the “information display. ”
The term “shooting information display” which has been used since the D40 that was too long and difficult to remember will be changed to "information display"from the Q0770
Also the term “quick settings display” used from the D60 will be abandoned to be replaced by “information display” from the Q0770, as the existence of two terms for the same display can only lead to confusion. Expressions such as “Press the (i) button to enter the quick settings display” will be rephrased as “Press the (i) button to change selected settings in the information display. ”
