smart photo selector

One of four shooting modes available with this camera. This mode is listed in the shooting menu together with Still capture, Movie, and Slow motion modes. The camera automatically chooses the best picture from shots taken both before and after the shutter-release button is pressed. The camera starts shooting frames when the shutter-release button is pressed halfway and records a total of up to 45 frames from before and after the moment the shutter-release button is pressed all the way down. The camera then selects the best picture from these frames. The criteria used to select the best picture have yet to be decided, but may include (in no particular order):

(1) Faces

(2) Composition

(3) Subject blur

(4) Focus

(5) A combination of subject detection and the above items.
