A new shooting mode in four of the fall '08 models (the Q07115, Q07125, Q07145, and Q07135) and a new option in the scene menu in one model (the Q07155). In this mode, the camera automatically selects the scene when pointed at a subject. The camera can detect the following six types of scene: portrait, night portrait, landscape, night landscape, back lighting, and close-ups. The camera will select Auto mode for subjects that do not fall into any of these types.
