A window lets you preview an animation quickly. The Playblast process takes a screen grab of the view at each frame, and then plays (blasts) the resulting images to a desktop movie player or the FCheck utility.

Playblast images can be saved either as a movie file or as a sequence of images in various formats. Also similarly known as making preview or linetest.
