It has a melting point of -99°C, a boiling point of 159°C, and a vapor pressure of 3. 42 mmHg at 25°C. n-propylbenzene is flammable and incompatible with strong oxidizing agents. It is harmful if swallowed and is a respiratory irritant. N-Propylbenzene degrades photo-chemically with hydroxyl radicals in the atmosphere and has a half-life of 2. 7 days.
