(1) The point at which the Moon's surface is intersected by the lunar radius directed towards the Earth's center when the Moon is at the mean ascending node and the node coincides with mean apogee or mean perigee. (2) A central point, on the Moon, selected as an origin for a coordinate system for the Moon's surface.
