The current shutter speed, aperture, number of exposures remaining, AF-area mode, and other settings are displayed in the monitor when the information button is pressed. Pressing the "information edit button" when information is displayed in the monitor (information display) allows the settings to be changed.

The term “information display button” used since the D40 which was too long and difficult to remember will be changed to “information edit button. ” . A short form is "i button".
