Icon corner is a place in the homes of Eastern Christians where icons are kept. It is usually on the eastern corner of the main room, but it can be found on plain walls as well. Icon corners are used during prayers said by family members, and they are usually the places where other sacred items (like censers, candles and holy water) are kept.
