There are two goals in Lacrosse and they are 6 feet wide (1.83 meters) and 6 feet high (1.83 meters). Metal pipes are used for the goal posts and the goal posts are joined together by a metal cross bar. Each goal has netting that is attached to the goal posts and cross bar. In Men's Lacrosse the net is staked to the ground 7 feet behind the center of the goal line in Women's Lacrosse the net is staked 6 feet behind the center of the goal line.
