glaebule
A three-dimensional unit within the s-matrix of the soil material. Its morphology is incompatible with its present occurrence being within a single void in the present soil material. It is recognized as a unit either because of a greater concentration of some constituent and/or a difference in fabric compared with the enclosing soil material, or because it has a distinct boundary with the enclosing soil material.
