fluorescent antibody
An antiserum conjugated with a fluorescent dye, (e.g., fluorescein or rhodamine). Fluorescent-labeled antiserum can be used to stain burred slides or other preparations and visualize the specific microorganism (antigen) of interest by fluorescence microscopy.
