The mode is intended to provide outline drawings for hobbyists who will paint over the outlines to create hand-tinted paintings of the original scenes.

The mode should not be mistaken for some sort of weird special effect. We are concerned that if the term is too close to “line art” that users will expect the resulting images to contain more shading or to be able to adjust shading with a slider.
