axial chromatic aberration
A general optical term to refer to a phenomenon caused by the lens focusing different wavelengths of light at different distances.
Capture NX 2. 2 offers a new tool in the “Camera & Lens Corrections” section of the edit list to correct axial chromatic aberration, which in English may also be referred to as “longitudinal chromatic aberration. ” “Axial color aberration” will be used both for the function name and in the user interface due to string length restrictions.
