autonomic nervous system
Autonomic nervous system manages the involuntary activities of smooth muscles, the muscle fibres of internal organs, including the intestines, sweat glands, airways, heart, and blood vessels.
The autonomic nervous system is devided into two parts: the sympathetic and the parasympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic system rules during times of stress while parasympathetic system governs during feeding.
