aquolls
Mollisols that are saturated with water for periods long enough to limit their use for most crops other than pasture unless they are artificially drained. Aquolls may have a histic epipedon, a sodium saturation in the upper part of the mollic epipedon of >15% that decreases with depth or mottles or gray colors within or immediately below the mollic epipedon.
