A check valve used in the oil tank of some aircraft reciprocating engines equipped with dry-sump lubrication systems.

Antileak check valves hold the oil in the tank against the pull of gravity, but as soon as the oil pump puts a low pressure on the check valve, it opens and allows oil to flow from the tank into the engine.
