The Island of Losinj is surrounded by a well indented coast with many pebbly beaches, and of the most beautiful, Veli Žal, is located in the bay of Sunčana Uvala (Sunny Bay). The beach is pebbly with a nice entrance to the sea which is great for families with small kids. A part of the beach is paved so here you can place your deckchairs and enjoy sunbathing. The beach is awarded with a Blue flag because of its qualities and clean sea and there are also lifeguards on the beach.
