The Circle is an organization that has a complete name as the Circle of Raziel. This organization consists of a group of Shadowhunters and has Valentine Morgenstern as the leader. This organization was created by Valentine himself who recruited his fellows when they studied together to be Shadowhunters. This organization rebelled against the Clave by setting out their goals to take down the Down world and downworlders. They prepare the Uprising to attack the Downworlders in the meeting with Shadowhunters.
