Lake Bouillouses

The Bouillouses Lake is one of the world natural sites that is most beautiful and is the greatest tourist destination. It has an impressive dam that was built in the beginning of the 20th century to regulate the water flow of the river Tat that is also used to generate electricity to Le Train Jaune, which is also known as the Yellow Train that uses its own hydroelectric station.

The presence of a multitude of small lakes that creates a lunar landscape that leaves a charming scenery, taste of the train heading to the summit of Pic Carlit, is one of French label areas with artistic, historical, scientific, legendary or picturesque interest that justified on how the site is exceptional quality.
