Haymitch, actor Woody Harrelson, is the living victor of the Hunger games from district 12, and the trainer of both Katniss and Peeta. A drunken man, Haymitch sobers up a bit to help the two train in a week for the start of the Hunger Games. He was also in charge of gathering sponsors for District 12 from the capitol for supplies.
