HS movie

An option that records movies at a high frame rate (high speed) and plays them back at the standard rate of 30 fps to create a slow-motion effect. “HS” is an abbreviation of “high speed”; the frame rate can be selected from the following options using the “HS movie” item in the movie menu: 240 fps, 120 fps, 60 fps, and 15 fps (movies recorded at 15 fps create a fast-forward effect when played back at 30 fps). The user sets the movie mode selector to HS before shooting and then presses the movie record button to begin recording at the normal frame rate, then presses OK to record HS footage at the frame rate selected in the menu. Shooting will end automatically after a set time if the movie record button is not pressed. The frame size and recording time depend on the frame rate. If the “Begin recording with HS footage” option is selected in the HS movie options menu, HS recording will begin when movie recording starts.
