Down Syndrome is a genetic disorder, it is caused when abnormal extra genetic material from chromosome 21. Down syndrome is the most common genetic chromosomal disorder and cause of learning disabilities in children. Down syndrome usually known for the mild or moderate intellectual disabilities (the average IQ usually is 50), some also mention about the delay in physical growth, however it is actually than that. Some children with down syndrome have severe health problem.
Children with down syndrome are easy to be identified, because down syndrome children have common features like small head, short neck, upward slanting eyes, unusually shaped ears or small ears, broad and short hands with a single crease in the palm, relatively short fingers and small hands and feet and short in height.
