De Lisle's map projection
A perspective map projection onto a cone, with two standard parallels usually taken as lying equidistant between the central and extreme parallels to be mapped. The parallels of latitude are mapped as equidistantly-spaced arcs of concentric circles. The map projection was introduced by de Lisle in 1745 and is commonly used in atlases.
