Cybertecture Egg
Located in Mumbai, India and designed by James Law Cybertecture International firm, the Cybertecture Egg entangles materials of technology, multimedia, intelligence and interactivity. It uses much less surface area than average buildings. According to its designers the concept for the structure was inspired "by looking at the world in terms of the planet being a self-sustaining vessel with an ecosystem that allows life to exist, grow and evolve." It is 32,000 square-meters and it's an egg on its side, where some have built the egg shape before but it has always been vertical. This design is taking that vertical egg shape and tipping it on its side; it is taking something that has been done and putting a new spin on.
