Beijing Consensus

Concept of the 'Beijing Consensus (BC), labeled by Ramo, was suggested as China's unique approach for China's economic success. It is an alternative to the Washington Consensus (WC) which used to be the conventional theory of economic development. The Beijing Consensus stresses state that control and broad government intervention in economy by the communism collective leadership system. Yasheng Huang in his essay argues that Chinese authoritarianism for Chinese growth is misleading but remains on enduring idea that emphasizes gradualism and experimentalism. The BC emphasize on increase in productivity through innovation and evaluation, as well as, growth without increasing pollution or social stratification, and the evaluation.
