A popular board game with different variations. I think that this is one game that hasnt gone out of style since its creation (1903). In efforts to explain the single tax theory of Henry George, Elizabeth J. Magie Phillips created this as a mere illustration, or a learning tool for all. Standard equipment to this board game includes: property deeds, 32 houses and 12 hotels, 32 Chance and Community Chest cards, a pair of dice, monopoly money totalling $15,140 in denominations of $500 bills, $100 bills, $50 bills, $20 bills, $10 bills, $5 bills, $1 bills, and finally the tokens (my favourite part) including: wheelbarrow, battleship, racecar, thimble,boot, Scotie dog, tophat, and a cat.

This is a game that can last hours on end.
