A process for converting plastics into consumer goods, such as bottle caps and closures, pails, cups, solid plastic articles, and thin wall molded products.  The process involves forcing molten plastic material from a cylinder into a relatively cool cavity that gives the article the desired shape. The mold is released when the plastic has hardened.
