Gaal is a Dutch football manager, in May 2014 he signed a 3 year contract with Manchester United to be their manager, replacing David Moyes.

Right after signing the contract, he was given the list players MU has targeted, and without any hesitation, this brand new coach agreed that MU should pursue both youngest player Luke Shaw and also Ander Herrera.

And eventually MU decided to hire both Shaw and Herrera, both already signed a contract with MU.

Now, the only job of van Gaal is non other than returning the Red Devils where they belong i.e. to the top.
