Apple Script Object

A distinct object in an application or its documents that can be specified in a script.

Apple Script Kit

A framework that supplies advanced Cocoa scripting support and other features required by AppleScript Studio.

Apple Script Component

The scripting component in OS X that implements the AppleScript scripting language. A scripting component provides services for compiling and executing scripts (and relies on the relationship key).

Apple Script Command

A script command provided by AppleScript. AppleScript commands do not have to be included in tell statements.
