Home > Blossary: Fine
It's both noun and verb, thus 'to fine=to impose fine, penalty, thus 'to penalize' someone, for ex. in simple cases of 'caught in act', that should be adjudicated within 24 hours, and Police, or Civil Police take someone on that same day to Prosecutor, for inquisition or when a doc of trialis formed by authority X, and case is adjudicated on that same day. In such case, punishment can be 'fine, penalty. For ex. he was find with 10000 Eur for his offence'' etc Or some times, punishment, rather part of punishment can be 'exchanged for fine, penalty of height accordingly, as Judge decides/judges per case. Usually in penal acts, the rate of punishment to be exchanged and replaced from penalty is of height up to 1 year. In criminal acts with sentence of more than 6 years, this rate can be of height of up to 2 years, according to decision of Judge and Court, and depending on all other relative factors. Fine applies also in terms of 'indeminity' as and if Court decides so, for either material damage, or moral harm, depending on case, or/and per case, but the amount of it, should be determined in doc of trial of claimant or defender, respectively and per case, thus be specific, not just request 'indemnification X, non specified amount, but concrete amount, say ''50000 Euros, 200.000 Eurs, be duly justified, and based on some other specifications of legal case, in the frame of doc of trial, and should mainly justify, the kind of legal right offended, on which rest of doc of trial is based and justifies, and better also be supported by relative legal arguments that support in turn suhc legal right. ..and relative claims but in terms of fine of indemnity, claims should be also proven. In other case, if amount is not determined/specified, the lawsuit will be rejected as indefinite.
